I have a dial-up connection that disconnects every 5 hours and when my internet connects back and my aol comes back up, it won’t put the away message back up that I had. Sometimes it won’t even show me idle when it reconnects. So if anyone knows what I could do have my away message up after reconnecting….PLEASE let me know!!! All of your help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
When you get disconnected, as far as I know, everything gets reset. So no, I don’t think there is any way to preserve such settings. Unless there is a tool for AOL out there that enables you to sign in under any status.
Well I mean it depends on your problem…. http://remoteaway.com/ You can use that to control stuff from a different location. So if you were out you would just need a computer to reset your away message
You could also set up a idle message so that you would go idle after so long and ppl would find out that way
