I have found a link to a site that allows me to remove my Yahoo name from a friends list. I am looking for a similar site or tool that will allow me to remove my name from a person’s MSN Messenger list. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
No, this is not currently possible with MSN, the person must deledt it themselves. Why not simply ask them to delete it?
I have and the person will not comply – this was one of those casual online acquaintances I met in a chat room who is becoming a pest to the point I have to come on invisible … nothing more than a pest though so not worthy of complaint to the Microsoft gurus.
Why not simply block the person? Eventually they will delete your name if you don’t talk to them anymore.
If he is pestering you or harassing you, then you should report him. It doesn’t matter how small or large the issue is.
Thanks you all… I have done the blocking but the idea of my name still on their friends list allows them easy links to my profile – which I update all the time… maybe I am just being sensitive here but thought there was an easy way to do it. I think I may just contact Microsoft and see if they can manually remove it. Thanks for all your advice!
