hi, I have a slight problem with internet explorer, there is a toolbar which has installed itself onto my computer and I am unable to remove it, I have removed it by unslecting it but when I click on another link it loads up again, help!

First find out what its called. Then, go to your control panel, double click on Add/Remove Programs and click Remove. If its not under that list, then its most likely adware or spyware and you’ll need to get either lavasoft ad-aware or spybot.
They used to have tons of this crap on the public pc’s at college. Every time I used one I would have to uninstall about 10 different toolbars and other crap that would slow them down.
Hi, this happened to me recently for stupidly unidling the ads blocker because some things don’t function with it on.
Anyway, I had one from hotbar which I had to do that twice. It takes a long time–be patient–go to the kitchen and get a drink while it happens, but if you do this twice–it might remove it self which I had to do. Make sure when it completely uninstall that you restart the computer, delete cookies, files and history and your recycle bin which that may be stored at. Make sure that you go to download.com and install spybot or ad aware which is free and run in weekly or so. If you can, try getting a Norton Anti-Virus and Norton Internet Security. It’s a God-send. I think you can buy this online and install it from their site. It will regularly update new virus protection.
I have a Yahoo Messenger Explorer bar that I am unable to uninstall. It came as part of the Messenger which I uninstalled, but when I click on add/remove it doesn’t budge. It comes up and disappear in less than a second which is not enough to allow me to click remove on time. It’s stuck there, and if anyone can help me get rid of it, it’d be greatly appreciated. I have the programs so those stupid installation doesn’t happen. Just have to make sure that I turn it on after I do my things that doesn’t work without the ad block off.
you should try reinstalling it, then uninstalling it. that way it should correct itself and then remove properly.
try using spybot get it from http://www.downloads.com it helps on some of the pop up which are stored on your hard drive to come up when viewing the web..
