Memberanyone know how to force rendezvous to reconnect when disconnected? I know this question has been raised before, but I couldn’t locate a thread where an answer was provided.. one response implied there is no way to do so.. however, I even tried defining a connection generating event that on partially disconnected would force a global reconnection.. I tried it and it did not automatically reconnect the rendezvous connection.. so I give up.. there arent any other reliable or relative events that I see could reliably trigger a reconnect.. help!

MemberRendezvous is the LAN chat plugin for Trillian Pro, if I’m not mistaken. You shouldn’t be disconnecting and reconnecting from your own LAN that you would need this functionality, honestly. And it doesn’t look like there’s an option to auto-reconnect anyway, sorry. So to answer your question, and for anyone else who searches for the answer tot his problem, there is no possible way to do it automatically. Sorry.

MemberWell, that doesn’t make much sense. Even if the plugin does not support auto-reconnect, you would think that setting an automated action to GLOBAL RECONNECT ALL triggered by PARTIAL DISCONNECTION would work. I was sure I found a work around. But that hasn’t proven reliable either. Trillian is a great program but it seems like it’s losing development support. It’s death is seemingly near. 🙁

MemberIt’s death is far from near. They’re working on a new version of Trillian called Astra.
And you’re right, that should work, setting a flag like that. I don’t know why it doesn’t work.
