hey I wanna ask this question
sometimes, generally the newbies accidently forget to write something and re post it again as they dont know about the edit feature… i wanna ask is it possible that if the last post on a particular topic is made by you and u feel that u missed something, then instead of posting a new reply, it automatically edits it and add to the previous post…. but the last post should be urs…. I hope every1 got me
Sounds like an impossible amount of work. The new users will catch on to the many available functions eventually, as we all did when we first started out. Most of them just don’t know that the ability to edit or delete there posts even exists. This Forum is very friendly and helpful, and someone will usually point new users in the right direction if necessary. A valid idea, but likely not very realistic.
Nearly everything is possible, but shifter is right… it’s a huge amount of work with very little payback. I’d rather just instruct people how to edit their posts.
