I need to know if there is a website that essentially performs a reverse lyric search. Meaning instead of you typing in the title of the song and it gives you the lyrics, it’s just the opposite. You type in the few snippets of words from the song that you remember, and it gives you the song title and artist (as well as the rest of the lyrics). It’s such a great idea, there just has to be a site like this in existance, anybody?
yeah, its called google. I use it all the time
I’ll second Tigerblade’s suggestion. Google works great. The only additional suggestion I would give you is to enclose the lyric snippet in double quotes for better results.
http://www.letssingit.com has a search option at the top for you to be able to search the lyrics…hope you find it useful.
http://www.a-zlyrics.com has tish option but i’d go with google
