I saw this movie in the theater the day it opened, on June 10, 2005. It is a horror flick.
The movie is about two female students who are friends decide to go away to a secluded place on a farm to study for their final exams. When they get woken up in the middle of the night by a stranger, they know that something is terribly wrong. With the burglar’s first slash of the knife, nothing will be the same.
I thought this movie sucked! First of all, it is a French film, with English voices dubbed over. Half of the movie was in English, half in French with English subtitles. There really is no decent plot, and the ending is confusing. Even while paying close attention, I could not figure out the ending.
The gory violence part was pretty decent. I wouldn’t recommend seeing it in the theater, or on rental either. MAYBE if it was in the dollar section of the rentals, sure, if you want to see a decent bloodbath. Other than that, don’t waste your money.
