I have a Verzion wireless cell phone, and was trying to find some ringtones. Besides the Verzion site, does anyone know where I can find some really cool ringtones? Possibly even some ringtones that might be free. I heard there might be sites out there that have free ones.
I dont have a plug to connect to my computer, I just have to send them right to the phone.
Any help is appreciated,
thanks!August 10, 2005 at 10:16 pm #127336TigerbladeParticipanttake a glance off to the side of your screen, bronxy, and behold… http://www.bigblueringtones.com/us/index.php

If you do go to http://www.funformobile.com/, and you can create your own ringers, or download MIDIs or clip Mp3s and make WAVs, or whatever, but point being that site allows you to upload your own ringtone, wallpaper, applications, and games for free. Plus it is like the only one the works with Verizon, that is what we have.

Then you can purchase how many tones you want there is like 1, 3, and 7. That is how I do it but I haven’t purchased any because my mom won’t let me.

I never trust these sites that you download ringtones from, because I think that they will somehow charge me for it, even though it is supposed to be free.

Well, one way is if your mobile has a recording voice feature. If so, u just record and save 🙂
But if it doesnt, you can record voice on your computer and then trasnfer the wav, or mp3 file in your mobile. (Supposedly that it supports mp3, but if it doesnt, wav will do too). Of course u need to have the relevant software installed on ur computer and a usb cable to connect the phone to ur pc.Do u have any of the above? 🙂
August 11, 2005 at 5:47 pm #127344LucifinaMemberI think there’s a voice record feature on his phone. I’m sure I can find the relevant software to transfer it and no no usb.
August 11, 2005 at 8:25 pm #127346DrBroccoliParticipantLike I said, http://www.funformobile.com support almost every carrier, and it allows you to upload downloaded ringers, homeade ringers, wallpaper, game, ect… for free, the catch is, it only works on certain phone, there is a list of supported phones on their site.
August 11, 2005 at 9:04 pm #127350AqeelParticipantFree ringtones for your download, English, Arabic and offcourse bollywood and lollywood ring tones are on this site. Simply download them and then use cable or Infradred (if you’ve these freatures in your phone) to download then on to your phone.
August 14, 2005 at 3:47 pm #127341bronxyMemberI have a voice recorder on my phone, but there is no option to make it a ringtone (verzion phone)
I guess I should buy a cable to transfer ringtones from my computer to my phone. That seems like what everyone has now. -
