Democrat & Chronicle: Local News: RIT students sued over downloads

Dave? You’re not on that list of Does, are you? I mean, I know you *legally purchase* all your music and all that…
Yeah I never got a letter, it’s rare that anyone at RIT grabs music directly from the internet though, the peer-to-peer infrastructure is pretty extensive.
There were threats of the school taking action, and several “hubs” were shutdown last schoolyear, so I actually don’t download anything, it’s risky at this point.
