I just installed a new multifunction printer with a card reader and even if the printer is off I get the safely remove hardware in the taskbar, if I hit stop will it make it go away?
This may help, but I have a feeling that it’s more of a workaround than a solution. Let me know 🙂
I had already did that… then I contacted my printer company and they told me the same thing!
just wear a condom and don’t worry about it.. It’s only trying to protect your data.
This is the best way I have found to remove that Icon.

You can set that program into your run at startup..so it hides it on each boot.
I read the TweakXP guide, but I don’t understand this part,
