Alright when I try to save a buddy icon from a site and put it in a folder so I can use it later if I want to whenever I left click and press the “save picture as” button the thing comes up to let me select where I want to save it but it will only let me save it in bitmap which means that it wotn move, it will just be one picture and I know its supposed to be saved in GIF so it can move and I have done it before with no problem then all of a sudden a few days ago it will only let me save it in Bitmap no matter where I try to get the icon from. Does anyone know why or better yet how to fix this so I can save my buddy icons again?
I just tried on origionalicons.com and it would select GIF fine for me… Try when you hit save image as… see if you can change the “Save as type” box to a GIF format. If that doesnt work, what Internet Browser and Operating System are you using, a certain ones may not allow you to save as GIF for some reason.
same here… i can save as a .gif… it comes up as the first option when i do a save as. could it possibly be the site you’re trying to get these from? have you tried any other sites with icons?
