MemberHi all: I am new here. I am also new to msn messenger 6.0.
Is there anyway that you can block someone from saving your conversation logs if you dont want the person you are talking
to ,to a be able to save your conversation with them?September 19, 2003 at 2:05 am #69783FrutZle
Memberno you can’t. It’s happening on their computer and other than asking them not to save the chats, there’s nothing you can do about it. Sorry.

MemberThanks for the info. Are there any other instant message sites
where you dont have the conversation log saving option?September 19, 2003 at 6:24 am #69782FrutZle
MemberI’m not entirely sure what you mean by that.
What I think you mean is if there are any other instant messenger programs that don’t allow saving of chats. There probably are, but that would mean somehow getting the other person to change the chat program he/she uses, and that’s not easy to get done. Not to mention that it’s basic functionality that’s expected by a lot of users, so programs that don’t allow for saving of chats will probably lack other functionality too.
Also important to mention is that even if you used another program that didn’t allow for saving of chats, but the other person didn’t change programs, nothing would’ve changed.September 19, 2003 at 8:49 am #69786lmpossible
