I just watched this movie SAW i don’t know how many people have seen it. But it has to be one of the wildest movies i ever veiwed. Danny Glover is in it. But it’s made by lions gate home entertainment. If you have seen it get a copy

(more pictures from trailer at bottom)My friend got a DVD for the movie and brought it over to watch. This is easily the best horror movie I have ever seen. Has a plot, drama, good action, good dialogue, etc. Many say it has came closer than any other horror movie at recapturing what the movie “se7en” accomplished. It doesn’t try to establish itself as a good horror movie simply by trying to make you jump out of your seat by jamming the movie with screams and things jumping out at you (this happens but only once or twice). It puts charactors of the movie in situations and environments that are both suspensful / nerve racking.
The best part? The fact that there is a point to the movie, it could actually happen, and has reason for everything that is being done. In most horror movies it seems like that you just have some random murderer whos a homicidal maniac trying to kill you, but this is different. You always think you’ve figured out the plot and whats going on, and then the movie has a turn and your back to where you started, having no idea what could happen or whats going to happen. This makes the movie fun all the way through. It has no predictable ending, no predictable events, and there is almot no way to figure out the entire movie until the end, no matter how much you pay attention.
November 3, 2004 at 4:08 am #122726Jeff HesterKeymasterMy 21 year old daughter saw this Sunday night and was afraid to open her closet when she got home. She woke me up at 12:30am she was so scared. Cool!
March 25, 2005 at 9:49 pm #122733gossipingraeMemberI just rented the movie today. I know I’m a little late, but hey, I’m a busy girl!
This movie was so f’in scary! I love scary movies, and I usually don’t get that frightened, but I have to agree with Someguy03 in this one…this was an excellent film!
Now that I’ve seen this, I’m going to read the thread about Saw 2…since I’m so behind…
April 1, 2005 at 2:06 am #122730ys8er2323Memberthat movie is awsome, I cant wait for the sequal in fall. This time im going to watch it at the theater because its more scarier there for some reason.
May 30, 2005 at 12:28 pm #122732sarahtownyMemberI have seen this film, but it was a bit violent and blood thirsty for me… When I watched it, I spent most of the time hiding behind the cushions!
May 30, 2005 at 1:08 pm #122731ShmankyMemberIt is wild.
Waiting for the sequel.
I bought the DVD after watching the promos because it reminded me of the game Silent Hill 2.May 30, 2005 at 1:56 pm #122734gossipingraeMemberI have the movie I love it! Just a side note, make sure you search before you post a new topic. We’ve already had a thread about this movie 😉
May 30, 2005 at 3:53 pm #122728TigerbladeParticipanti saw it… not really my kind of movie, but it wasnt too bad. it was done well, at least i can say that for it. i dont think i’ll watch the sequel though… the first one was a little too messed up for me.
May 30, 2005 at 4:56 pm #122735NessaParticipantI loved messed up movies.:D Horror and all, but none have been scary to the point where i will say, “that movie is the scariest ever.” I look foward to part two, since part one wasn’t bad at all.
May 31, 2005 at 4:04 am #122729RabidKittenParticipantBut yes, it was a good movie, and I’m such a Carey Elwes fan that it’s sick. *shrug* Even if he isn’t as striking as when he was in the Princess Bride or Robin Hood, Men in Tights. I can forgive *wink* Anywho, yeah, I liked it…my roomate didn’t. He said that Carey’s ‘stupid’ behavior at the end made the whole movie crap. *rolls her eyes* Men…
