from the below news story “ScatterChat … is an instant messaging client that provides end-to-end encryption … resiliency against partial compromise through perfect forward secrecy, immunity from replay attacks, and limited resistance to traffic analysis, all reinforced through a pro-actively secure design.“
It is based on Gaim and includes TOR built-in (for extra ‘security’). features list as comprared to other chat clients: http://scatterchat.com/feature_list.html ScatterChat is designed to be user friendly and offers ‘human readable’ documentation. 🙂
