MemberFirst of all does anyone remember how to hex aim so you can have two clients open simuntatiously?
Second of all how to you link screen names? I did it, but it is sort of backwards. It confuses me.

Just copy aim.exe into any other file (for example aim2.exe).
Find & replace in aim2.exe string “_Oscar_AppMutex” by anything else.
Now you can run aim2.exe to start second AIM copy.
BTW, easiest way to use any of AIM addons, almost all have cloning feature.Quote:quote:Originally posted by matttrenSecond of all how to you link screen names? I did it, but it is sort of backwards. It confuses me.
Same problem. This feature doesn’t working for me to. I’m not using proxies/firewalls, but it doesn’t want to work.

MemberYeah but I don’t’ like Add-ons. I know it’s Weird but it’s just the way I am.
With the Linking feature it worked last week, but it hasn’t been working the last few days, I been trying periodically.
As for the Hexing, Someone just gave me the website.

KeymasterScreen name linking works fine for me. Make sure you’re running the latest version. Also, the linking is dependent on which screen name you login with.
For example, lets say I have three screen names: A, B and C. I login with screen name A and link screen names B and C. As long as I login with screen name A first, the other two screen names will always be linked (in theory). But if I login with screen name B, I won’t have any linked screen names. You need to set up the linkages for whatever screen name you want to initially log in with.
You could conceivably set it up so that when you logged in with screen name B, screen name C was linked, but not A. Basically, it’s flexible and it’s all based on whatever account you login with.
