Sending a message to an offline user

hey, i was wondering how u can maybe send a message 2 an offline user, so that when he logs on he’ll be able 2 get it, and i kno i should use email, thats wut its for, but unfortunatly he doesn’t use it 2 much, please help mmeeee

You can also do it with yahoo messenger. I also believe there is a bot that takes messages and sends them.

i dont think there is away,but you called always make it so your notified when that user comes on!

use MessageServer. he supposedly does that though i havent really bothered trying it because ive neva really needed to

Some one should just post a thread all about MessageServer and what it does and a moderator should make it a sticky topic, I have seen many people ask this in the past while.

1. Send an IM to AIMOffline1
2. You will get a response from another AIMOffline bot
3. Then specify the screen name and offline message

If you warn any of these AIM Offline bots, you will be permanently banned. You have been “warned.”

The only official screen names for AIMOffline are AIMOffline1-10 B1-B10 C1-C10 D1-D10 F1-F10 ONLY

buddyseen is great, but sadly it seems to get bogged down a bit much and doesn’t deliver the message.

Edit: I just remembered my big gripe with it: Anybody can claim to be anybody else, because its not through AIM, there’s no way to prove its actually you sending the message. DoorManBot, on the other hand, handles most of its messages through AIM, so they are positively who they say they are from.

rlk93babe, with DoorManBot, you don’t need to install anything on your computer, just add DoorManBot to your buddy list and you’re set to go.
