I need the ability to send an email from my phone to a standard SMTP address, (user@domain), I’m trying to send a message via the ‘Messages’ menu item, but I select the destination to user@domain and it says “Wrong entry,” has anyone successfully sent an email from this phone? Can you please explain to me how? Thanks. 🙂
Yes, you either have to go into your “mail” account with the phone company OR go into Yahoo!, MSN etc…and send it that way. You need to use a mail program to send to a mail program.
…But HOW?
You have to establish a username most likely. Go to your company’s WAP homepage. There should be a way to send e-mail from there and to set up a username.
maybe e-mail isnt activated?
no service?
if your on verizon sometimes you need to download an email client from get it now.
I got it, didn’t know I had to use WAP to do it, but that’s cool, I can send out now.
