MemberUsing the skills I aquired back when I was on dark side of AIM (;)), I have figured out what is going on. I discovered that SessTerm is a program that allows you to login to a screename (if you have its password) and the program will automatically kick everyone on that screename offline. You will get a message saying “The session has terminated because you signed on with this screen name at another location”. AIM used to do this when you tried to get on a screename more than once, but changed it so you can be on your screename as many times at once as you want.
I am guessing this program some how exploits the old method and kicks you off AIM. It seems that the programmers of SessTerm have made it so if a user uses SessTerm on a screename and then logs on that screename with the same computer they used SessTerm on, that “SessTerm™ 3.0 by unsticky” will be displayed in the profile. This advertisment in your profile will only show up if someone is using the computer that they used SessTerm on.
So in your case, the other guy on your account used SessTerm on your screename, and thus the program made it so whenever he logs into your screename on his computer, that advertisement will be displayed.

MemberThe thing is..NO One knows my password…so I dont know how they got it if they do…Not only that..like I have MM and I think that might be where the problem occured because its happening to the people who use that program

Memberum. sure no one knows your password, but that’s what YOU think. doesn’t necesarily mean that no one knows your password. have ye checked for keyloggers? have you given away your password when if you got an email asking you for it because “aol lost it”? you think MM is the problem? has it happened to any of your friends that use MM? now as for my suggestion…change the password and make 100% sure the email associated with your sn is the one you registered it with…if that doesn’t work keep us posted…
