MemberI have just installed Eyeball Chat 2.2 and it worked first time, without the no voice hassles of MSN Messenger.
I should be able to add my MSN Messenger account information, but the fields are greyed-out although the user guide shows them as white fields that can be filled-in.
Can anyone help me to fix this problem please?
Thanks

MemberDoes Eyeball chat support voice communication? (microphone)

MemberYes, Eyeball Chat supports voice as well as video and text.
The MSN login issue has not gone away, I managed to enter my account info by opening the Edit Profile web page, but it still fails to log into MSN.
There’s obviously a software bug because my MSN account info does not appear in the fields unless I go to edit profile, but the “unable to log into MSN” message comes-up quite a while after I have logged into the Eyeball Chat service – sometimes.January 21, 2004 at 5:42 am #52031lazyturbo
MemberIs Eyeball Chat better than Netmeeting?
January 21, 2004 at 9:56 am #52033parbrook
MemberI have to say yes as I have never been able to get Netmeeting to work.
My understanding is that Netmeeting needs a server to host the chat and this has to be provided by one of the users – could be wrong though – but it seems far too complicated for something that should be very simple.
If I could rely on MSN Messenger to make connections and work with audio every time, it would be my preference.
However, Eyeball Chat is very easy to use and makes much quicker connections.February 25, 2005 at 4:52 am #52039validim

MemberI’m having the same problem, the set up areas for both Yahoo and MSN are greyed out, yet the fields for Aim are fine. Any ideas?

MemberI had eyeball for awhile now. The reason you can’t log into MSN or Yahoo is that they never updated their program. When MSN and Yahoo came out with new versions.
