Sharing Folder

I set up a sharing folder with someone who isn’t running beta messenger, assuming that I would be notified if it couldn’t be accessed by my intended contact. Silly me! I should have read first.

Now I’m trying delete that folder. I did that from windows explorer and it appears to be gone, but when I right clicked that contact’s name in my main messenger list, and clicked “sharing folder”, the folder opened, intact. I went to the help section on beta messenger and searched for “delete sharing folder”. Nothing is there!!!!

I thought that perhaps if I were to delete each file from that folder, it would go away. Not!!!!!

Any ideas on how to expunge this folder, albeit a now empty one????
