The question is interesting. Is GPS worth it?
October 24, 2008 at 4:43 am #171704DavidParticipantMaybe you should read some reviews? The phone isn’t new anymore, and it’s flaws are pretty well noted.

Personally, I’d consider upgrading and resell your 2g phone on eBay.

Additionally, if you are worried about it being cost effective, consider getting one on ebay instead of through your carrier. Combining those savings with the price you’ll get for your used iPhone, it might be a good deal and worth the effort.

Signs point to a new version being released in June/July, so if you’re not in a rush, I’d wait and see what’s coming. If you’ve got the first gen version, it might be a good time to upgrade!
