those are somewhere in a different file you have to do it with a hex editor, it depends on what version of aim you are using to know where to find the right hex string
The offsets are often times different for each version, I spent a whole day hex hunting in buddyui and icbmui so that I could have a complete list at middle_man (which many people use update their pages in addition to using my own page, HA!) with everything 4.8.2790 and newer, unless AOL wouldn’t allow me to sign on (which happened with 3 versions I think):

5.5.3415 and below = line 2054 = small space right above buddies that says “%s’s Buddy List:” //changed to “%s’s Buds:”is there anyway to do that with the final AIM 5.5
I found the string, and changed it to %s’s homies.then saved it, but it still said “buddylist”

When I get disconnected and I have 3 mins to reconnect, anyway to make it so I can have it wait 6 mins or something?That’s a new question for me. If it is possible, I would think you’d have to change some hex values, and I don’t know which file you’d have to hex edit.
i’d like to have messenger:mate aim but i dont want to spend money on something to enhance a free program
Messenger:Mate kicks ass and is well worth the $5, if you get it i’d send it in. New versions are release all the time.
Oh and chicken about your sig, you can take that gmail invite thing out. On April 1, 2005 gmail is gonig public and invites will no longer be used.
