Ahh, yes, that would be my LCD…thing. It reads the HDD, Motherboard and CPU fan and adjusts the fan speeds accordingly. Also comes with Date/Time function, Temp and Time alarm, and HDD activity. There’s also a thing in front of it that flips down, as well, that has a 6-pin FireWire port, Headphone and Mic ports, and 2xUSB 2.0 ports. This case has everything. It’s well worth the $120.

November 3, 2012 at 10:48 pm #48461OzoneMemberHowdy! These are the specs for my beast, bought it at a university surplus, since replaced damn near everything but the case… Got a new motherboard, (it runs waaay hot, but after another fan it doesn’t self-destruct anymore) RAM, video card, DVD-RAM, internal and external HD’s. For such an antique, it has no problem running Diablo III or Steam (although not at the same time…)

Dell OptiPlex GX270Processor:
Intel 15 Model 2 Stepping 9 ~3192 MhzRAM:

Seagate Barracuda SATA 120GB 3G/sec
Western Digital Green SATA 1TB 3G/sec
Western Digital My Book 1110 1.5TB 480M/sec USB 2.0 externalThe beast is used 90% of the time for games and watching movies. I lust after a new Alienware or high-tech water-cooled game machine, but for about $500, you can’t beat what I have…
