Ok a lot to tell.
I have 2 computers both Windows XP Home, but one of them is not letting me sign in (downstairs computer) to MSN Messenger 6.2, but the other one does. Yet my brother can sign into both MSN’s perfectly well. Both MSN’s run on a proxy server, and recently I got the 0x8100031a error message (with just the downstairs computer). So I took off proxy server and went to sign in, and literally nothing happened. It attempted to log in but then reverted straight back to the log in page, my brother tried it and he logged in perfectly ok. I can log in fine upstairs and can log in on Windows Messenger everything but the MSN on this downstairs computer.
I’ve tried completely re-installing MSN to no avail. I’ve changed my password and that didn’t work and I completely removed Zone Alarm and it still didn’t work.
I can log into hotmail fine, and I really do not want to have to create a new account as I have over 100 contacts on my list.
ANY help whatsoever would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Don’t forget Treble99 that you can go and export your contact list and then load it into your new email account via MSN Messenger.
Exporting:[/b]
Contacts > Save Contact List…
Importing:[/b]
Contacts > Import Contacts From a Saved File…
it has something to do with a firewall and this could be AV or your modem, routers. Check your TCP IP or remove your networking.
