Yesterday I was being booted in a chat room, so I decided to bring in a few extra usernames. I was also playing chess in yahoo games. Then, in all of my chat windows, it says the “You Have Been Logged off Chat” thing in the bold red letters. I close all of the copies of yahoo but my main account, and try to relogin. It says Invalid Password. I created a new username until I get the other one back, and my friends tell me that it shows my “banned account” as online, and they tell me it has this status: Yahoo! Games – Amateur’s Room (or something like that) I can still log on to play yahoo games and mail, I just can’t use the messenger. Am I banned for life? 🙁 What’s going on?? I’ve had this account for 5 years, and it has 5 alias’s that I use all the time. I won’t rest until I have it back.
ThanksGenerally, Yahoo! will allow multiple connections for different usernames.
It all depends upon timing intervals of when the name is logged on.
This is due to Account Crackers.After so many attemps from an IP it will ban you(25 I think)
Wait 12-48 hours, if that still doesnt work, please re-post w/ an up to date of what is happening.
