I think yahoo has messed up again. It allows multiple logins on the same name. I tried it with yahelite using the chat protocol and my other name was on normal messenger.
Anyone else notice this?
It is not a mess up, it has always been possible. As long as you long in using different protocols. But when you log in using two programs using the same ID on the same protocol, the second one logs out the first one. I know quite a few chatters that run a client in a room with their messenger in the background using the same name.
Yeah it has been around, chat clients use this method, the ID in the chatroom under ycht/cht2 protocol and it will log you at the same time in ymsg allowing you to enjoy certain features of messenger such as receiving and sending PMs, etc.
