August 27, 2005 at 4:09 pm #128744TigerbladeParticipantheh, sort of like a resume thread for webdevelopers? if that’s the case i’ve got a few under my belt over the last few years.
-of course i’ve got my own site, Tigerblade.net.
-then I built and host the site for the computer consulting business that my dad and i co-run. Benchmark Enterprises
-I built a website for a man looking to get support for his legal cause (that client was a pain in the neck to deal with). he never launched the site, unfortunately… apparently didnt have the money to continue with it. whatever.
-I took a pretty crappy powerpoint demo presentation of a landscaping business and crafted a fairly nice website for them. sadly, i hate to admit this, since it was one of the first sites i ever wrote, it only works in IE. and actually now that i look at it i’m not sure if that’s the html site i wrote or if it’s still the powerpoint. hm… i dont have a backup of that, it was from so long ago. :/
-i rebuilt a website for a local band, then designed a new one for them a few months later. (no links for either of these, they no longer exist except as samples on my harddrive)
-just a few months ago i started a brand new website for the same guys, different band. The Deaf Aids (the name is taken from a Beatles quote)and i know there’s a few more that i helped create… i’ve had my hand in a few different sites, helping the designers figure things out, suggesting alternatives and ideas, etc.
August 27, 2005 at 5:20 pm #128749SpikeMemberOh man… Let’s see…
- There’s GUIpowered.com, formally known as SpikeLtd.com.
- There’s my coding site, kind of a self-project, ShiftOne.net, which I might turn into a blog in the near future, seeing as how it has the capacity to do so.
- There’s my Guild Wars Guild site, Federation Of War.
- I made forums for my church (it’s not a normal church, heh), Sanctuary Forums
- I made a site praising Maxthon, but it never went anywhere, GetMaxthon.com
- I’m second-in-command at my school district’s unofficial forums, DGforums.net

August 29, 2005 at 4:44 am #128743EEDOKMemberI only own geekswhoshower.com but I have yet to finish it.
August 29, 2005 at 10:58 pm #128746RabidKittenParticipantWow Qwerty… *thumbs up, dwindling smile* Way to put in your two cents there. Really insightful.
Anyway, um yes, I have some great embarasments *thumbs up* most of which aren’t around anymore. A couple neopets places that I’ve helped out on, spottedkoi.tk was one…I can’t for the life of me remember another. It hardly matters since they’re poofed.
Um, yes, for a tad I worked on my mother’s bird page, but she lost interest and I got tired of lookng at code for 3 days straight and basically being blown off. Here’s that embarasment http://freewebs.com/candycornbeaks.
Let’s see here. Oh, right, next on the embarasement list is the character sheets I helped put together a million years ago: Yay for ghetto geocities
Oh! yes, this was last years spur of the moment, I don’t really care but I have nothing better to do ghettoness! *grins*: Huzzah
And about…oh what…three to four…but I think it was three years ago, before I had any decent graphics programs, I did all the graphics and designfor this group: Mirtanna
And the Gateway for RPers, I was bored one day and instead of a big ol list of crap that nobody could go through, I put it into a workable…thing. Whatnot…I don’t know what you’d call this but it’s really outdated and poorly done: Gateway
I….Hm. I think that’s about it. In honesty, I stick more to just designing layouts for people. Mostly for a long time I stuck to neopets guild layouts… … … YAY! *chuckles* I like making pretty things, and coming up with ideas, but dang the writting is annoying. And I personally like to just whip out my notepad and do it all by hand. I’m difficult like that.
My roomate wants me to make an effort and make him a site for his drag, especially now that he got into the Emperial Court of Minnesota. *shrug* I figure, hell, if he buys the spaces, I might as well. Heh, might get extra credit in college, who knows *wink* It’s really isn’t a matter of I don’t know what I’m doing…I just get bored, heheh. And really have no point, so I don’t try. If I had a purpose, then I’d give a damn *snickers*. Pfft, and hell, I’ve seen the other queen’s sites…and they’re laughable…heheh, time to blow them out of the water so to speak *wink*. That and another queen said that if I do well on Steven/Zekara’s (My roomate), then she’d pay me to do hers. Huzzah. *does a jig*
But yes, those are my embarasments. Yay for me. I’m awesome, I’m Ashton Kutcher, I love Justin Timberlake!
September 2, 2005 at 3:39 pm #128752arubParticipantin my opinion, unless you have a domain your site won’t get popular.

Other than that I guess I am just a loser :(.September 3, 2005 at 7:39 am #128747RabidKittenParticipant*is cheep. and poor. and minnesotan* Those are my excuses *laughs* Well that and I’ve never had a reason to buy up space anywhere else.
Tom, ya got a point *le purr for Maddox* My idol. Alright, maybe not that far, but me gusta.
September 7, 2005 at 2:50 pm #128753arubParticipantMaddox has thebestpageintheuniverse.com/.net and some others probably , and his host gives him tons of bandwidth + space which sites like freewebs don’t give.
September 7, 2005 at 8:04 pm #128742AnnaParticipantI have a contract with a components distributor right now… ‘cept the website is still entirely on my harddrive.
