Just wondering why the skins I download for yahoo messenger version 7.0 will not load. Even though I download and unzip to the yahoo messenger skins folder. When I go to the preferences menu and select to change apperance and pull down the menu there my skin is not there. Anybody have any suggestion for me to try? Thanks in advance!! : )

If you have “Y! Messenger Plus” addon, try its tool “Y! BitSkin” to install safety your skin

You can get that from the link in his signature.
To answer your question, first you need to make sure the skin is the right version. The older skins for 5 and below will NOT work on the new messenger. You need skins designed for 6 and up. To check, look inside the skin folder, the old skins have maybe 10 images, the new skins have 60+.
To install it, you must extract it to
C:Program FilesYahoo!SharedGraphics
not the skin folder. (I know, makes no sense.)
