I have decided to stick with trillian for now… I am thinking of trying qnext again but dont know…. The main thing thats letting me down with trillian is the fact that even if I download a completely free skin it comes up with winzip after its loaded and it says “order now only $29” yippie-kye-yay thats cheap :p LOL how can I get the skins to load freely. Am I using the wrong version I have tried 7.4 and the trillian basic patch one. So am I using the wrong one, I heard you have to have 7.0 I couldnt even find it LOL do you guys know the url to download 7.0 thanks for all your help… sam.
I use skins with .74 and have never seen an order now only $29.
The skins aren’t asking you to order. Winzip is. Winzip isn’t free. You can try it, but it will nag you until you buy it. If you are using Windows XP, you do not need WinZip. To install skins, extract the folder with the files in them to the skins directory under trillians directory.
Let’s say I have the skin for MSN Messenger 5 to apply to trillian basic. I drag and drop that folder from Winzip (or use the wizard whichever your prefer) into C:Program FilesTrillianSkins. To change skins, go into preferences, the skins section, and launch the skin chooser.
Note: You will need to restart Trillian for the new skin to take effect.

do you know where I can find skins for .74 I have personally never seen them only pro and 0.7 it would be good if I could see them, cheers, Sam.
alright how bout I verify that to two simple questions:
1) where do I download .74 skins.
2) do you guys use 0.7 or .74 to get your skins.

cheers,1) Here. You just need to look to see if the skin you want is compatible with .7x. If you previously used MSN Messenger, I recommend the MSN Messenger 5.0 skin.
