This will probably sound silly, but when I’m in the IM screen, sometimes I want to send a typical smiley face, only increase the size. When I highlight it and try to make it bigger, it still stays the same size when I hit enter to send it. Does anyone know how to do this?
Also, one of my friends sent me this awesome emoticon from the smileys site she goes to. Is there anyway to make that image work via Yahoo messenger?
First you can not make the smileys bigger by changing the font size. It just doesnt work that way. There are only one set size of smileys and no matter what the size of font is :)[/CODE] will always be the one sized smiley.
As for your other question. It is possible to replace smileys with your own but only you will see them. Everyone has there own smileys stored on there own computers. So you would have to get all your friends to change there smileys to match yours if you wanted your friends to see them to…[CODE]:)[/CODE] will always be the one sized smiley.

If so you are probably talking about Smiley Central or something similar. You can Google if you really want it but be advised, most, if not all of these programs come bundled with spyware, adware, etc (even if they say that they don’t) and can compromise your computers speed and security. I recommend staying away from any of those, and just settle for Yahoo’s built in smileys.
