I am new to the forum. I am here because I need some help. Recently someone hacked into my messenger and hotmail account and changed my information so that I am locked out. They are talking on Messenger and Hotmail as if they were me. I have sent the email to the Messenger people but in the meantime….? Please help!???
Waht can you say ther are still ppl who think doing this crap is fun.
Do not mess with it first create a new account.. if you remeber all your friends PM them and let them know what has happened. Those are who really count right . So forget about that nick.
2) you better scan ur PC and see if there is a keylooger installed on your PCGood luck
the people who usually jack other peoples hotmail accounts are their friends because basically your family and friends only know the exact account information you put in because they know you the best, and then there is the other option like VESPRO has said above the possible keylogger status hater dealy..
Hi. first of all has anyone sent you a file through MSN or anything like that? it could contain a dodgy keylogger, someone did it to me and changed my accound details etc. like people said it was probably someone you know on MSN. good luck.
May I make a suggestion to save your contact list periodically! I know this won’t apply to kel05 now, but for future endeavors, just do it! It can save a lot of hassle! 🙂
Kel05, that is awful! I hope it all works out.
Now I am anxious and want to check my PC for “keylogger” as was suggested. But could you please explain how do we do that? Also, what else can be done to prevent something like this from happening to us?
Also, I posted this question before, but it now I think it could be related to hacking… Last night (and this is not the first time) I left MSN on “appear offline.” In the middle of the night–without me touching it–my friend called and woke me, b/c he saw me sign in and I appeared online, so he assumed I was awake. Could this mean a hacker is accessing my account or did my computer simply disconnect & reconnect as online (though I can’t understand how, as my MSN is set up to sign in as offline)?

Please help!???You should write to support@microsoft.com and you can get your account back. They going to ask you questions about when did you register this account, the last time you did sign in and details on your .net passport account. And then send you the password reset e-mail.
Till waiting their responce, try to login to your account with wrong password so many times, that it gets blocked, also disable reseting with secret question, entering the wrong-one many times. You should see note about unblocking with password reset. So the other person can not sign in too.
