I am not very computer savy. But I have been trying to read about the keylogger etc. I think that someone might be watching what I am doing on the computer from a different computer. I have been trying to find the best program of what to use to detect this and fix any of these problems. I use norton antivirus and spybot. I have read someothers on here but have never heard of them or how they work want to be sure to use something that is good and will work. Thank you for any help.
Hi dc1995 and welcome to the Big Blue Ball. The issue you raise is one I have seen posted several times here, parents spying and the like. If you haven’t already done so, try using the search function (on the second dark blue bar down from the logo – sort of towards the right) to get a quick answer. We’ve got some very computer savvy folks here, present company excepted, and all are very willing to help out in any way they can.

I have read a lot of these I guess that I just wanted to be sure that the scans that I am using are good. I see that there are several of them out there and just trying to be sure that what I am doing is correct. Thank you.
if its a keylogger your looking for norton should do just fine at finding it. Iv only used norton a few times. but if you want to double check you might disable norton and try avg, im using avg and i tested it a few weeks ago by downloading some keyloggers and tryin to install them and avg alerted me befor i opened them that they were on my computer, but if norton didnt pick anything up in a scan you might not have a keylogger on there.
Do you know for sure someones seeing your computer? any signs or evidence?

BitDefender is another good product and you do not have to download quite so much. Though you DO need to use Microsoft Internet Explorer when you use it. Choose the “online scan” and that should find anything that might be there…good luck! (Oh…and make sure to only use ONE product at a time.)
norton products aren’t very reliable. some “friends” did some tests involving some well-known spyware. norton never blinked upon their install. then they tried NOD32. alarms all over. advice : try NOD
BitDefender works very well too. perhaps even better. its only downside is the big resource demand on the computer.
