There is a couple of things that I think would go well with the new YM.
I think it would be good if you could make a private group and password protect it. Also I would want to be able to only have the nickname that I choose for a buddy at the top of the messenger box,
e.g. If my buddies messenger id is F***kface I might want to change his nick to Sweetpea, but at the top of the messenger window it shows,
Sweetpea (F***kface)-jay_bird100. Or is there a way to change this that I dont know of..jaybird.. I think what you’re referring to in the buddy names can be done by simply editing their contact information on your messenger. I have changed people’s nick’s by what I call them, not what they have typed into a profile or username. Just right click on their name and edit contact info.
