I’m having a problem with Sound Recorder on my computer. I recently set my webcam back up, and I’ve been trying to record my voice with Voice Recorder. It works, but it’s got some ‘fuzzy’ noise. You know, that “bzstszzt” type sound? Is there anyway for me to fix this? Or could someone tell me of a better (and free) sound recorder? Thanks
You could try CoolEdit – it’s a good program for audio editing. But, I think the actual problem is your webcam’s microphone, not the software. 🙂
Is this the first time you’ve used that microphone? or maybe you HAVE tried it before, and it used to work fine?
Yeah, at first I thought it might be the microphone on the webcam, but it was fine a few weeks ago. I have used it before, and it was working fine…
Do you have an external mic or one built in the PC? If you do, try that. Sound recorder probablly wouldn’t be the problem, it just finds the mic and records. You could try going to “FILE>>AUDIO PROPERTIES” and playing with the mic settings.
