I have to say I don’t understand why people want fame, it would the last thing on earth I would ever want. But I understand why some do, power, money and all that goes with it, even if it’s not my thing.
I have to say I am not a great fan of Britney, her music is not my taste. But when I have seen her over the years. She did no harm to anyone, in some ways she seemed very naive and just a young girl having fun.
This morning I opened the newspaper and saw that yesterday, again she is in trouble, she went into LA and shaved off all her hair and then went for a tattoo. I have to say my heart sank and thought, boy oh boy that girl is in trouble.

However, if someone with a meatier personality did this, mmh like for example Angelina Jolie (no one batted an eyelid when she had tattoo’s) we would probably go well that’s just her personality.
With Miss Spears, I do not think this is the case. I feel the girl is in deep trouble, and most definitely needs a friend.
Not many care in either direction what she does, personally I find it sad seeing someone, in the public eye obviously destroying herself and it seems on purpose so we all know she is going through this.
Maybe you don’t agree, but I think the worst is yet to come. Might be mostly her own fault, but it’s time people stopped knocking her and someone took this situation in hand. I am wondering where her friends and family are!
Yes, there are people in much worst situations and in much more of need of sympathy than this young lady. But still it makes me feel sad. Fame who needs it!

I’m not sure what I think. I’m not a fan of hers at all, so like you said I don’t really care one way or another what she does. I think what this might be is not necessarily a cry for help, but a cry for attention. Face it, she hasn’t really done much of anything with her career lately, and things like this are the only way she can keep her name in the papers. When was the last time she released some sort of quality album? No one knows. We know all about her little marriage to K-Fed, we know all about her ordeal with the kid on her lap while driving, her being drunk/high and talking about time-travel, all that stuff. That’s the only way she’s staying in the news, keeping her name out.
I don’t know if she’s making a plea for help, but something like this is not a good way to do it. The majority of the people who see this article are going to react the same as I have — “oh look, another publicity stunt.” Only her close friends and family are going to actually do anything about it if it is indeed a cry for help.
I’d say that she was just getting out of the newspaper, and wanted back in. just for popularity… or having a blond moment. 😀
Yeah, this is probably more of a publicity stunt than anything. She probably feels that for a breif moment there wasn’t enough about her in the news, so what can she do? What hasn’t really been done? SHAVE HER HEAD! Of course, so she’s talked about for a total of half a week more, that’s great.
I don’t think it was a planned publicity stunt. I don’t think she’s just having fun (although she might think she is). And I don’t really think it’s a public cry for help.
I think Britney is depressed. She’s put on weight. She has two young children and a failed marriage. Her career is not as bright as it once was. She is hounded by the papparazzi everywhere she goes. Everything thing she does is scrutinized.
I think the “Britney Spears personae” has grown bigger than her. She is overwhelmed by it. She’s tired of it. And yet she feels trapped by the machine.
Her recent behavior is just a desperate, defiant middle finger to that machine.
i think this is a cry for help. britney’s life and music career started going downhill after her breakup with justin timberlake. she had that quickie marriage in vegas, then backed out. she married k-fed and quickly got pregnant. then she got pregnant again. finally brit’s marriage was on the rocks and she is getting divorced.
personally, i think social services should come and take her children away. what kind of mother goes out partying all hours of the night, climbs out of limos without panties? if her children are not with k-fed, WHO is watching them?
i think she is suffering form serious depression. she has no career, no husband, hardly any fan base left. a few days ago she checked into rehab, and then 24 hours later chcecked out. then shaved her head, got the tats.
she needs help! where is her family? if she can’t help herself, then her family needs to step in and do something.
i almost feel for kfed…brit has no chance of getting custody of their kids now.
i just pray for her and for her babies…she needs some serious help!

I to think it is a form of depression from everything going on in britneys life not that IM a fan of Briteny or her music but its hard not to hear anything about her when there is something said about her every day on TV and that something seems to always be bad but it sells allot of people out there feed off of it
