HI
is there any way to fix my voice source
in the others but MIC IN..
i dont wanna change it every time when i have a voice session!!!
thank u!!
Please explain what you are meaning. Is your computer not remembering the setting or Yahoo?? Or is that even what you talking about?
I think he is trying to ask if it’s possible to change the source where Yahoo! IM gets the sound for a voice conversation from. Default this will be the microphone connector on your sound card.
I’m not sure how Yahoo! IM handles this, I’ve never used it’s voice conversation feature before and couldn’t find any information on it. However, something you could try is double clicking on the sound icon on your taskbar, and selecting a different device on the ‘Recording’ properties screen. If you are asking if you can make these changes permanent – that depends. If Yahoo! IM selects your ‘Microphone’ input device for recording everytime, then no, you can’t prevent that from happening.

any wave input device will do (others such as built im microphones in webcams, or wave devices in dial up modems, etc.- just as long as the device manager in your control panel recognizes it as a wave input device )- although YM recognizes only one. You can select the wave input device you wish to use in voice chat by disabling the other input devices.
