Spelling checker does not work

I’ve just installed gaim for windows with aspell in english and french. After reading somethign ont he gaim FAQ page, I uninstalled the french, leaving the english installed. But stil on luck. it doesn’t highlight any words, no matter how badly misspelled they are. And I can’t seem to find any settings for the spelling check function anywhere. It’s not in the plug-in list.

The spell checker in any of the 2.0 beta versions doesn’t work. Try using 1.5.0.

By the way, it doesn’t highlight, it adds a small underline to the misspelled word. Similar to the way MS Word does it.
