So I just got back from the movie. My opinions? Definitely a good movie. However, I’ve read a lot of stuff that praised the movie, giving me high expectations, and I ended up coming into the movie with a biased view. And when it finished, it disappointed me somewhat. If I had to choose between the original or the sequel, probably I would go with the prior. It just seemed to me to be slightly more well-rounded. Seemed to be less action, and more (not much tho) that went unexplained and felt slightly disconnected.
If you’re reading this, and you haven’t seen it, and you’re thinking this movie will disappoint you, that wasn’t the point of this post. I recommend seeing this movie (because it was a good movie), but I was just giving my after-thoughts.
And for others who have seen it already, what did you think of it?

The thing a didn’t get was how making the orb go underwater made it stop. And I think there was one part where I saw Stan Lee for like 2 sconds, like one of the town citizens backing away when Dock Ock was carrying Peter’s aunt up the building.
But I thought it was better than the first one.

And even worse, Dr. Oct and him become friends at the end…
Overall, the sequel is definately better than the first one…i didnt expect Harry and MJ to find out his identity in the same film. So that was a surprise for me.

You shouldn’t read reviews until after the movie, so that you can judge for yourself when your in the theatre. Its not like your not gonna watch it, even if you read a bad review before you see the movie, so why bother.

Code:[ spoiler]blah blah[/ spoiler](without the spaces) for people who haven’t seen it yet

Well, I think many people still do this nonetheless. People just want to get an idea of what they’re walking into. I guess people don’t like suspense (a bit ironic, eh?)

July 20, 2004 at 11:50 am #42486GudnyMemberI liked Spider-man 2 better than Spider-Man. It´s fun to see a fun-to-watch and well done Hollywood action movie that everyone (almost) can realate to.
I didn´t read alot about the movie before I saw it and I wasn´t disapointed, it was kinda just what I was expecting 🙂So i´ll probably be adding Spider-man 2 to my DVD collection… and Spider-Man 3 maybe…

I think too that spiderman 2 is a pretty good movie. however, I felt that there are too few action in it and too much emotional part, but still, I liked that.
and I have a question about it, maybe someone can help me. there is a trailer of the movie, around 30seconds long, in which there is is a very good music, a woman sings an aria, I think it was showed on TV-s in all countries.
can anyone tell me the title of this song?
thx in advance -
