I have heard if it, knows what it does, but doesnt know what do to about it.

Seriously, please dont ask for help then ignore the advise given.You could use Ad-aware, tho I surely wouldnt as it seems to have some problems.

To remove the offending programs, you’ll need to uninstall them. With better-behaved programs such as Gator you can usually use Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall them that way. If they’re not in the list, it might take more digging.
Gator is not in the list, but Ezula was, and someother program from the ‘gain’ company so when I used a search engine, it would pop up its own search, but with was not in the add/remove list, and some how by-passed by popup blocker (popup manager) everytime, even when it was manually blocked by me. I have cleared the cookies, and images from temp internet files, and I do this everytime I log off the net. But I will use the program rustedtight has sudjested. Thank you.
Gator actually is the company name, and they produce several different “utilities” that might be found under different names. They have a time-and-date utility, a password keeper-form-filler-outer-thingie, etc. Check around. You can also find uninstall instructions on their website.

They probably hope the length of the licence (5,114 words) will make people accept without reading, but dont let yourself be suckered.
