ParticipantJust a thought, maybe if you opened AIMRes.dll and aim.exe with ResHack and changed the version to 5.5 it’d stop the warnings?

Memberit sounds as if you have already accepted to install the upgrade, the upgrade file downloaded and prompted to install but you’ve been hitting cancel ever since. maybe if you can find where ever it stores the upgrade installation and delete it, the warnings will go away?

ParticipantI think f0rbez is correct, I’d suggest you uninstall AIM from Add/Remove programs, then delete (If it still exists) the AIM and/or AIM95 folder, then reinstall.

MemberI upgraded and then downgraded because my deadaim didnt work with the new version and I did not want to pay for the newest one. Maybe thats why mine is different . plus I have windows 98
