🙁 Not sure whats going on ? back in april there were quite a few of us had our accounts messed with resulting in not being able to sign in
now i have recovered 2 of those accounts in the mean time i created another new account which had no contacts i logged into it today to find it contains the contacts from an old account ???
i did not add any of these so can someone explain how this has happen ??
could someone have accessed my new account i find this hard to believe considering noone new i created this new account ??Or is it a new yahoo thing ?? which automatically adds old contacts

The latest Yahoo! Messenger Beta will search for old Contacts and add them if you selected ok to.
Perhaps you thought it was suppose to do that and clicked ok and it added the old buddies.
This however still needs their approval and is basically temp if anything.
Yahoo! messenger beta will add yahoo! ids from outlook express.

thanks demont but thats not the cause in this case
i use a old version of messenger not any beta versions
i also checked another name i made at the same time it hasn’t happen on that one
Its as though someone has access to my accounts some way and is adding people ???
it can’t be outlook either as i have no addresses saved in it either
You said they were contacts off of another account? I doubt it is someone with your password then. How would they know who your contacts are on seperate accounts?
Not sure how they would just appear thou. Have you tried to delete them? I guess changing your password couldn’t hurt. But it sounds like it may be somthing else.
