So I have multiple computers, one of them is a mac. It’s hooked up to my tv to stream movies. Well this weekend I plan on taking my tower(just reformatted it) and it doesn’t have anything on it, I was going to switch that out w/my Mac and start using my Mac again, but here is my problem I’ve got 2 Western Digital Mybooks, and I was just curious if there was any converter or anything out there to convert my hard drives from windows to Mac with out deleting my music and other stuff. Thanks in advance.
*bump*
I had a similar problem. I have an IOgear external drive that I use for running backups from 3 PCs. I added a Mac into the mix and was hoping I’d be able to backup that as well, but my Mac wanted to reformat the drive.
It seems like Macs and PCs can’t easily share an external drive.
As for converting the data, I don’t know of any apps that will do that for you, but if you can shuffle things around you should be ok. Macs can read and write to Windows shares, so that might be the way to go.
