My suggestion for this whole thing is that, you guys should give me all your secrets ha ha ha! No, I’m just kidding:p
Okay one thing that bugs me is that when I post something in a thread, I have to wait at least two minutes to post into another thread. Isn’t there a way you guys could shorten up the delay time?
This feature stop a lot of spam and useless postings. Generally, anything that takes under two minutes to think of and type up isn’t really valuable to the topic. We will not shorten this delay.
Generally most members spend at leat one minute reading the original post, another minute thinking about what they are going to reply with, and yet another minute to type in legible form what they want to add to the conversation. If someone is posting faster than the 2 minute allowance, then they are unlikely to be adding anything of value anyway. If you have an intelligent reply, I’m sure it will be worth the wait to post it. I have over 2000 posts on this forum and have never once had the spam timer stop me from posting.
well maybe 2 minutes might be a little bit too long. Although a minute and 45 seconds would do just fine.

OK, now thats just stupid, if you cant wait that 15 seconds…
whatever it is, get over the delay.you shouldnt be posting that fast anyways. theres no reason you cant wait a minute or two

I also remember on a few occasions spammers who’ve flooded the board with crap in the middle of the night where most of the moderators including Jeff were asleep, and there was no one to remove the garbage. I haven’t seen anything of it since this implication.
