Symbols after name in chat

I see people talking with symbols in front of what they say in chat like …….. perfekt:{icon} hello room what’s up. …… how is this done?

They are using a 3rd party chat client that allows avitars . there are at least 6 that i am aware of ( cheeta chat,Y!mlite, JAM, Quick chat,Yahelite,and Ychat. look here and you can find out more about the chat clients http://www.chat-help.co.uk/

There called Avatars or Tattoos but there both different Avatars are small pictures beside peoples names and Tattoos are small symbols.

As riff says visite the site check the clients out see what you think.
