If you replace a motherboard with anything but the exact same model, you’re going to need to repair windows. All the driver, PCI bus addressing and system configuration data is no longer valid, and it’s extremely likely that when windows boots (or starts to do so) it will try to access something that no longer exists, and it faults. But a repair should be a quick fix.
Done and done.
It’s all sorted now, just a few minor issues which I can easily rectify myself, but thanks everyone!
