The first time you run windows live messenger it asks you to set your preferences. In this window you can chose to display all of your conversation windows in one window. All conversations can be accessed by a tab at the top of the window.
The problem is, I forgot to set that preference and now that I have finished ‘starting up’ I can’t seem to find the option to activate this feature.
Can anyone help?
Adam
You can just get Messenger Plus, tabbed chats is one of its many features and it’s very handy.
Isn’t MSNPlus! a form of spyware? I used to have problems with that piece of software and it scrambled my former computer (RIP Betty). Any other way to do it in WLM?
Cheers for the idea though mate 🙂

Messenger Plus is totally healthy and reliable. When you first install it, it asks you if you want to install the sponsor as well. If you click yes, then you’ll get some sort of adware. Just click no and you’re clean.
I have it and it hasn’t caused me any problems. Plus that it has many other good thingies as well like an event logger, custom emoticon sounds, polygamy, etc etc.
Cool ok, well I’ll defenately give it another try. It seems like the majority of the members on this forum have it in some shape or form. Thanks for the sharp reply.
