Hello
Last night I posted a message about the 0x81000314 error. In the end I managed to log on, but this was a while and by the time I got on I didn’t have very long to chat to anybody else. This evening I came on and a couple of people have replied to my post, very good, thank you. I followed their instructions to a different thread (I forget it now). I changed my password, no luck. So, I chose to do Option 2, because I don’t want to have to wait ages every night before I can log on! I removed all trace of MSN Messenger from my computer (I even deleted the shortcut on the desktop, to be sure). I went to the MSN site to download it again, and, after one failed download and three quarters of an hour, I got it, and attempted to install it.
No such luck! Halfway through installation, it bluescreened. The error message was the usual bundle of jargon but I noticed in the code for the program causing the error TBAV. TBAV (or Thunder Byte AntiVirus) is, and always has been the antivirus program on the computer (it came with the package). So I’d like to know if there’s any way round this problem.
Do you have the TBAV program?
Do you know why this could be?
Can you help?Thanks, spike_iron

The only solution that has worked for me, is to log into my hotmail via webpage, and then log the messenger. But sometimes i dont work sooo, i have to wait for the service to be avaible.
