technical one folks!!

when using msn or windows messenger i have a problem that i cannot figure out…

if the ics is switched on i cannot invite voice to other users

if i switch ics off i can invite once an once only then it will not work a second time unles i put ics on and off again!!

anyone shed any light plz

intel 100 base server adapter
realtek internal network hub
conexant 56 k fax modem
6 port front plate usb hub

if anyone has expierienced this let me know plz

What firewall is being used?
How is the ics setup?
How are you logging on to web?
What is yr experience level?
The hardware details supplied are of no importance as it is prolly a software related fault.

firewall = norton internet seurity 2003
ics = shared with my sons machine firewalled by norton internet seurity 2003

it seems like the file sharing problem i think, maybe someone can point me in the right direction

fair knowledge

logging onto web by 512 cable modem

no xp firewall
