My girlfriend is in England. I text her on my cell phone but thats pretty dang expensive. I have Verzion. I cannot text her though the website, which stinks.
Is there any other way I can text message her? I’ve tried to do it through Yahoo! Messenger and it will not work (even though it says you can do international), AIM I can’t do it which is weird, you can add cell phones but i’ve tried for international and it won’t work.
Is there any other way?

thanksShe can change her cell phone network/operater, buy new SIM of some other company which fits your needs bettar. There’re many out.
MSN also provides significant IM service on Cell phones, check she can signin from her phone or not.
If she has a GPRS enabled phone she can also sign into her MSN account using GPRS.I am in the uk, my mobile has WAP so put a new bookmark on it to yahoo messenger and I can read any offlines people send me via yahoo messenger. Also if she goes to the uk yahoo website you can have any emails sent to your mobile. It’s one of the choices available with yahoo emails in the uk. I am unsure as to why if she has a WAP phone it won’t work??
