It took the effort of a lot of people to make our Launch Party a success.
I’ll start by giving a special thanks to our site admin, DJHyperbyte. He has put in countless hours setting and configuring our new server (and putting up with my countless delays).
Special thanks also to Dr Kimble, who created our slick new forum skin. Remarkable considering that it was her first time using vBulletin.
Kudos to long-time BigBlueBall member and former moderator Magistyk did a ton of work on the CSS used for the home page and throughout the non-forum sections of the site, and to Orphan Burrito who helped migrate the content from the old format to the new — a mountain of work!
Shifter put together the fun Trivia bot we’re using for our IM Trivia challenge. A really fun game with some good questions. Great job!
Thanks to all of our moderators who helped test and provided feedback on the design of the new forums, and who put up with a lot of “stuff” in an often thankless role. You make BBB a friendlier place.
And hats off to all the volunteers who offered to man the IRC channel and keep the conversation flowing, including Spike, Tigerblade, Hasan, Shifter and Oreo.
Thank-you all. Without your help, BigBlueBall wouldn’t be here today!
